Calling all Eagles

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! Whether you are returning to Laurel or joining our school community for the first time, we are so excited to have you as part of the Laurel family.

Note that our Back to School Night is on Monday, August 10th from 4:00-4:45 followed immediately by our Ice Cream Social 4:45-5:15.

We are excited to welcome our Laurel Lions back for the first day of the 2026–2027 school year!

Tuesday, August 11, is a regular school day.

 

School Hours

 

  • TK & Kindergarten: 8:15 a.m. – 12:50 p.m.
  • Grades 1–3: 8:15 a.m. – 2:37 p.m.
  • Grades 4–5: 8:15 a.m. – 2:47 p.m.
  •  

Students are welcome to bring a snack and lunch from home or enjoy a meal provided by our school cafeteria.

 

We also encourage all students to bring a labeled water bottle each day to help them stay hydrated, healthy, and ready to learn!

Back to School Night

We are doing something different this year and hosting Back to School Night the day before school starts. Students are welcome to join as it is their classroom. We hope this would alleviate any anxiety that might arise with learning a new classroom environment.

 

You will also receive a paper copy of our Student/Family Handbook for this year. If you would like to read it now it is linked at the bottom of the newsletter.

TK/Kinder parents and students

Join us this Sunday to meet other incoming TK and Kinder families.

This will give you an opportunity to connect with other families, meet our PTA and explore the playground.
